This collection includes two volumes of Frank M. Heath's scrapbook entitled, "Gypsy Queen's trip around the USA." The volumes contain photographs, news clipping, letters, and testimonials related to Heath's trip around the country on horseback. Mr. Heath lived in Silver Spring, MD. A WWI veteran, he embarked on a well-publicized charity pledge to ride his horse, Gypsy Queen, through all 48 states, in order to raise money for the American Legion.
